Versatile shaping
With the two-stage low-pressure extruders, ECT-KEMA continues its long tradition of manufacturing shaping machines for fine ceramics and insulator technology.
These machines are ideally suited for deairing, kneading and extruding ceramic masses and thus for shaping solid and hollow strands.
The extruders are available in normal and stainless steels. The specially developed single-circumference systems ensure optimum auger filling and thus the most efficient mass transport through the feed screw and press screw. For the evacuation of the ceramic mass, ECT-KEMA has developed a transparent vacuum chamber which, in combination with various rod or perforated plates, ensures perfect deaeration of the ceramic mass.
Various screw geometries for a melt pressure of up to 50 bar are possible for optimum mass compression in the various applications.
To ensure customer-oriented process monitoring, ECT-KEMA has pre-equipped the extruders with the latest sensor technology for press pressure, vacuum and filling level.
All systems can be combined with ECT-KEMA cutting and handling technology.
